Our friends Mike, Colby and their four (soon to be five) kids came over for dinner tonight. Luke was a total train wreck for the first hour, but finally settled in after pizza and enjoyed himself. Isabel, Catherine, Joseph and Zeta are unschooled and their parents limit the kinds of toys they can play with, so they think our house is some kind of toy wonderland. They also liked our stairs. The kids have a very distinct way of speaking and I think Catherine was calling this game "trotting" down the stairs. Whatever they called it, the kids had a blast.
